As 2007 comes to an end I would like to wish everyone a Happy, Healthy & Prosperous 2008!  Let’s pray it will be smooth sailing compared to ‘07.  I really don’t think that anything could be as much of a nightmare as this year. I shall not jinx myself by spewing cliches.  I can say with all honesty ( as I always do) that I truly now understand Mr. Nietzsche and his infamous ” What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger”.  I can’t help but wonder if the globe on my shoulders came with software that I forgot to install.  Even that would not have prepared me for the slalom I managed to survive.   Well,  I’m still cute, still smiling, my glass is still half full -I have run out of olives though   and  I have my family and a few close friends to thank for convincing me not to save what was left of my sanity and just go on.  This is my first New Year’s Eve without my Mother.  No matter where I was or who I was with I have always called home at midnight, while watching  Mr. Clark bid a fond farewell to years gone. Tonight as we 3 generations watch Dick do his magic, I pray that she and all of you are in a wonderful place! xo
